It was a pleasure meeting you at the Ventura Porsche Show! I was drooling over your Speedster! Your Speedster is AWESOME!!!

I had Deep 6 inch Real Porsche Alloys mounted with 185-65-15 tires mounted all the way around before the car when to the Body Shop. I have to have those rims redone and repainted black and polished out again because of the water spots from leaving those rims mounted while the Speedster was repainted. When my Speedster returned from the Body Shop, I mounted on my Speedster 5.5 Moon Eyes Fuch Style "Flat 4 Fully Polished Rims" with 145-15 front tires and 165-15 rear tires and added a lower adjustable beam in the front of my Speedster to lower the stance.

Aloha and Happy New Year! David
David, beautiful car. I'd love to see how your AC is installed. Maybe I'll see you at one of our local cruise nights.

Heres my work in progress. Still waiting for my engine before I paint the car. I've been toying with the idea of power windows. And also redoing the hood grill to go side to side instead of up to down. More like the current model Porsches. Maybe even a pop up grill when you get up to speed. I've been going to the junk yards and scrounging up parts. I got most of the parts, now I just gotta decide IF and how to do it. I'm at a stand still right now trying to decide. But I've been working on the interior.

Know what Tony? Last night I drove one of those recent (2002) V6 Mercedes two seater convertibles that a friend of mine got with only 16,000 miles on the odometer for $25K (!!!) It's cool and beautiful but I prefer the simplicity and rowdiness of my Speedster plus...it definitely turns more heads. I've always said these cars seem almost like custom designed for my tastes.....
Hey Bill B. -

I know there are severaloptions for finding these leather luggage straps - but to answer your question, I ordered mine through European Collectibles. Try their website EuropeanCollectibles.com. They are a Porsche restoration shop in Costa Mesa, CA. Very helpful staff and cool inventory. In fact, they are the shop that had their Speedsters (on a transporter) mashed by a freight train after the Ventura Porsche Show.

Here is another look at those straps!

You have one of the greatest looking cars I have ever seen!
I mean it, The pictures are just fantastic.

Over here in Australia (Tasmania) I don't see one a year but since being on this site I am in "SPEEDSTER HEAVEN" with so many great looking cars.

I have a flared speedster which I am in the process of upgrading and hope to put some pics on the site soon but "WOW", I'm almost too itimidated to post.

Thanks for giving me a thrill at the end of a shitty day at work

John
