I'll be adding a dinner reservation /menu selection form for the German Restaurant. Don't forget that this is necessary due to prep time of the true dishes. I'll hand-carry hem to Karl so that there are no mistakes. There is one dish that requires 6 hours to make, but I did not add that one to the menu. The reason being that we must be on time and there is also an up charge. Sauerbraten marinates for 10 days. This is the one below and Karl was very German about it!

Schweinshaxn (Knuckle of Pork)

A specialty of the Fairytale King Ludwig ll. You must reserve this item 24 hours in advance, since it takes about 6 hours to bake it. Served with M
Gents,
As soon as the knee recuperates a little more, I'll visit Karl at the Bavarian so I can get up close and personal with the offerings. Also, check out the Parkway and return routing. Do we want to lunch at the Pisgah Inn? An approximate rum of 20 miles on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Panoramic views at around 6000 feet.

Here is the lunch menu. There is also a pdf menu.

Return Route:
Pisgah Inn to the Wagon Road Gap around Cold Mountain via 276, to 110 to Canton and return via Highway 74 to Asheville Another choice: Pisgah Inn back track to Elk Pasture Gap, take 151 to Canton return via Highway 74. The second route is the shorter one. The return route roads off the Parkway could be very interesting!
Knee re-do was a success! Scar tissue removed and knee cap was re-aligned by lateral release. The mountains have cooled off, new seat belts installed, fire extinguisher in place and new coco mat pattern sent to Natural Auto Parts(mats had to be changed due new pedal installation). Looks like in another week I'll be able to checkout routes and food. Any one want to join me?
