Cant find any oil filled shocks that will work with my lowered cmc. It sits at 13 5/8 and would like a compressed around 12 and extended at around 17. Anybody have any leads for me on where to look all the spots I have found so far are gas filled.

I seem to remember from my Cal Look VW days (25-30 years ago) that for a lowered ball joint front end shocks from an Opel Kadett (sp?) were the ticket.
PS- Maybe see if Monroe has something?
PPSS- OK, straight from Monroe's website- 1970 Opel Kadet front replacement- Monroe-Matic Plus- #32153.
Those Monroe shocks seem to be gas charged. I actually found the dimensions of the empi 9653 which are 10 1/2 closed and 15 1/4 extended. These should work good anyone in need of some KYB shocks?
