My CMC's oil pressure gauge was unreliable at best. It was consistently incorrect at three lines from the left on the "Vintage Reproduction" gauge's scale, but since my fuel gauge read backward I never counted on ANY of them to be accurate.

John, the first thing I did after purchase of my CMC was throw out the Vintage gauge and replace it with the VDO. With a 1776 engine I now have 15lbs oil pressure at warm idle, and 40lbs at startup. I now know the motor's getting oil.VDO 350-040 $29.95
