67649252663__9F258219-0749-47AB-AD1D-7177350863D9I had oil pressure and head temp gauges made by Classic Instruments in Michigan to match the rest of the gauges (center mount/full sweep).  I designed the face to use the same lettering and color as the new VDO gauges. They probably still have it on file... Not as affordable as off the shelf, but much less than the original on Ebay.

I can probably find the design file as well, send me a PM if you want it.

Is that the place that (briefly) made VDO-like 4 gauge multis that advertised on 914 World? I’ve made several attempts to contact them with no luck. I think VDO sent them a cease and desist and they don’t even want to talk about it anymore.

eta: Answering my own question. That company is now called NewVintage Gauges.

When they were making them, they were about half what PA and Hollywood charge for them. All VDO internals so they worked with off the shelf senders.

I went to their site - no gauges like these, but what a wonderland of cool stuff. I'd think one of the other sets would be perfect for an outlaw

... but I really wish they were still doing these sets.

I had Harmut remake my Combi gauge for oil pressure (instead of fuel) and with little icons for the idiot lights 15 years ago. I also sent out the tach to get it redone with VDO internals and a 8000 RPM face. The work is "OK" - but the screening is fading, and it was about the same price as two complete sets of replica gauges at the time.

Did I mention how much I love the set pictured above? I think I did. I LOVE the set pictured above.
