Beautiful cloudless day here in Hot Springs, Arkansas today so I took a nice drive in my VS which I do every chance I get.

Temps today were low 50's so with the top up , passenger window in and a good jacket it was fairly comfortable.

I have a Manley oil dipstick with a thermometer on it and when I returned after a :30 minute drive---some at 70 mph --and checked the oil temp, it was just 160 degrees. This seemes very low to me especially after reading here about worried folks with temps up to 230 or so.

I recently added a CB oil sump for + 1 1/2 qts as I also used to get high temps--220 last summer.

So--is there a temp that is considered to be TOO low? Thanks!

And happy New Year to all you into "the madness" here.---Jack
