Is anyone going to FamillienFest on August 20?

Anyone been to this one before, what's it like?

Open only to air cooled VWs. Located a few miles north of Escondido, California, off I-15. Take the first exit north past Lawrence Welk Village, and double back about 1/4 mile. The entry fee is right on my budget plan!

Dave - we were there a few years ago with Kevin Z (Mendeola) and its a pretty cool show. Small scale but cool cars and swap meet.

I used to judge 2 concours a year at Deer Park some 20 years ago, great location, winery and old 50's converts, but that was when Bob Knapp owned the place, he died and the son ruined everything....
