Hell yea! +1 to that.
Do an engine swap with the Blue Beetle!
The options are endless.
This week, I'll reduce the price to $38,000 the $500 savings could go towards a few decals, maybe driving lights...for those not in the know, the attached didn't sell for $38,000 last weekend in Seattle. It also sports a hard tonneau and a 1915cc engine, probably a run of the mill transaxle. But I can match him hood strap for hood strap and can trump him with custom bumperettes. Okay, he's got wide fives, but not sure if he has 4 wheel discs. I'll even throw in a set of racing numbers similar to #37 here. Think about it.
It's the hard tonneau that did it. The #37 car is a nod to #68. (Or maybe the Hoopty)
Put on the Empi/minilites with knockoff two-ear spinners (and a hard tonneau) and you're there.
Don't get me wrong, #37 is a good looking car. IMHHO.
If you only knock off $400, will you aim the driving lights? Ol' number 37 looks a bit like Marty Feldman there...
I took a look at #37 when I picked up my car from Park Place a few weeks ago. It looks fantastic in the flesh but they were asking a $10K premium over the price of my car. I compared the specs and the only difference was the hard tonneau. $10K is a lot of money for a piece of plastic!
Good observation AND comparison, Stan.
You also got an extra GT mirror, Chris. Good shopping and nice car! I like the blue.
Might as well be one mirror for all the use they are. Definitely a victory for style over function

What do I need to do this weekend to entice anyone?
Rich- I just looked at Park Place's ad for #37 and it mentions front discs only, so it's got drums on the back.
Yes, mine has discs on the front and drums at the back. Seems to be the Park Place standard spec.
Thanks for the research, Al...mine does have 4-wheel discs.
Just since there seems to be several folks looking for a Speedster, I thought I would bump this up to the top again. I love my Speedster, but there's always room for improvement if I were to sell this one. Here's part one of ten of fall ride 2 years ago.
