Any ideas?
Look on the Samba... http://www.thesamba.com/vw/ there are two older Intermeccanica Roadsters (Vert Ds) for sale. Also go to http://www.jstefano.com/ he is a dealer for Intermeccanica on the east coast and has a few used Roadsters for sale. There is a nice (tube frame) 2000 Intermeccanica Roadster in Burgandy and Tan for sale with low miles (less than 3500 miles). And finally, I agree with Dale, call Henry Reisner (owner Intermeccanica). He can give you the info you need, including cars for sale. I would call Henry before buying anything.

To add to Gordon's info, Intermeccanica Speedsters have roll up (power) side windows from about 2002-03 on.

If you want to live on the wild side, there is a low mileage 2003 Intermeccanica Speedster for sale at J Stefano and on E-bay with only 3 days left- http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Porsche-356-GS-GT-1959-Intermeccanica-Porsche-GS-GT-Replica-Speedster-356_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ6428QQitemZ4594943430QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW It was featured in the September 2003 issue of Excellence and is loaded with an RS spec'd Porsche 2.7L and is truly one of a kind... a replica of a 59 GT in Stone Gray. This is a beautiful car.
