Last time they had this Cruisefest car show here in Sacramento there was a parking area for older Porsche cars, but this year, mine was the only one in the show, so it got a lot of attention, including the Television personality who was the MC of the show, who asked me about my Speedster. And the always predictable first question he asked: “Is your beautiful Speedster real?”😂

Most shows I attend don’t quite know what to do with my car, so I often end up in “Special Interest” or some hoky category like that. Many of the Hot Rod guys in southern New England know me and now ask first what group I want to be in, if any (usually I go in the “unjudged” group at Hot Rod meets because my car simply doesn’t fit in).

There weren’t any real categories or groups but some did kind of park their cars together on the street after they cruised around the block if they were the same type.

Pretty much all of our cars are real but most are not original Speedsters.
