Wolfgang.
The dash strip is brushed aluminum and it is Empi VW trim. Here's the Empi part number 98-1059-B. It attaches with special little plastic clips that are also an Empi item. The kit comes with 7 or 8 pieces that are specific for a bug, but worked fine for my dash.

Nice job Troy. The re-work of the dash looks great. I would not own a yellow car, but I like the way this wide-body looks. My only real problem is that I have never been a fan of the mullet, business up front, party in the back - bumper up front, nerfs in back ... Not so much.
LOL. I wondered when someone was going to notice the nerfs on the back and the bumper on the front. I'm going to be selling the car with both nerf bars and bumpers and will be taking pictures with it both ways.
i never noticed that either. :)

I think on THAT particular car, you'll need to sell it with the bumpers on and leave the nerf bars in the boot.
That IS a fine-looking car. If I sent mine out to you on a truck, would you be able to save her?
Kidding. That'll never happen. I drove her into the ground once; I can do it again. :)

You need to drive your car out here Cory. That would be the coolest thing if you showed up at our Pismo event!
