Ordered Coupe replica | 356 Speedster, 550 Spyder, Replica, Automotive Community

I visisted replicars in Johannesburg over the weekend and discovered that they are launching a replica of the coupe soon. I have placed an order for the first one! Final pricing has not been finalised but expectations are that it will be in the region of about US$3000.

I will be doing a custom chasis with a Golf GTI DSG gearbox and motor mounted midships with a custom double wishbone setup up front.

They also quoted me about US$1200 for a complete respray of the speedster. Very very tempting.
