I was at Carlisle and saw several owners had a "kit" that included the oil filter which is now a storage(?) can. Where can IO find more info on this thing?

John, What kind of information are you looking for relating to the Oil Canister? I had the black Speedster ("57 PORSH") with the canister. I know that they are available on E-bay from time to time.
They can be had in excellent condition for under $100.

Not necessarily a "storage can" either.....most that I've seen actually work.
I didn't look to carefully. I saw one with the top off and some gloves or something in it. I thought there was more to it than just the filter cannister - perhaps other pieces and since there were several, I thought it might be available as a "kit".
