Very nice detailed photos of an original 1955 Porsche Carrera 1500 GS Speedster. No price listed, but you know what they say..."If you have to ask..."

Correct me if I'm wrong or overly suspicious, but don't Porsche pedals come down through the fire wall and not up through the floor like VWs? Also, don't Carreras have louvers in the engine cover?
I googled 1955 Porsche Carrea and one site said 7 pre-production cars were built and only 8 production cars built in 1955. Another site said 147 were built. One photo shows Carreras with only the Carrera scripts and another showed a small Carrera script under the Speedster script on the front fenders. Oh well as a replica owner it's not really my concern.

Marty, I know about the Beanie Babies, my niece in England sent my daughter an authentic Britania which at the time was rare and selling for $300 here in the the states. It now sits in a plastic case looking forlorn. I also have the four Taco Bell Chihuahua dogs that speak when you squeeze them. I did have some Florida land up near Malabar but the development company when bankrupt. BTW, anyone want some hot tips in the stock market?

Saw me mum on Christmas & she mentioned she had two old PEZ dispensers (the reputed inventor of the PEZ head died late last year). I told her some o' dem things is worth bux. She's like, wha?? So I'm like, "let's lookitup on the Ebay" and sho'nuff, one of her Santas goes for $20 each. It was like a little mini edition of Antiques Road Show right there at her little desk. Thanks, "PEZ" (TM) for the best Christmas ever!
@tom: about that solar rectal thermo. VC guys'll eat that up (figuratively, I mean) if you wrap it into some kind of "on-line community" thing. Just make it tweet the temp readings, shove it up the bum of some MIT grad school drop-out and send him to lunch. It's like 1998 out there all over again.

Yer welcome. Just remember to ship me a Speedie when that shit goes public.
