Jim,
This is so unspeakably cool. Again, you are rubbing it in for all us east-coasters, who never get a chance to hop in the Speedy and run down the road on any given week end and see such mastery. I am truly impressed with the deatil shown here. Reminds me of the '49 Packard (which model I can't say) my dad had. This was a 4-dr sedan with a monstrous straight eight flat head in it. There was so much room in the back I could put my legs straight out and not touch the front seats. I loved that car, and regarded it covetously while in high school, imagining the day I would get my license and learn to drive it. Spent lots of hours polishing the insides. Then a terrible thing happened. My dad died late in my junior year (1961), and over my most desperate pleadings, my mom sold the car. I have never forgiven her, and that was about 45 years ago. She simply did not understand. And so it goes . . .
