Greg, Alan was  a vocational auto shop teacher at a non profit alternative school where they had two auto shops that served as a venue for teaching "at risk youth" basic automotive skills. They accomplished this in a unique setting by building speedster replicars from a shortened type 1 pan up to completion.

This Speedy was a project car That Al worked on while at the alternative school. Al can give more specific details about this build.

OK here's the skinny on this car ...With Raby's Type IV motor and his matched tranny it's ^&$! FAST and corners like it's on a rail!

This is a JPS turn key car that is owned by the CEO of the School I taught auto shop at.... Yes , I did gobs of work on this speedy as requested by the current owner to make it run and handles but came up looking a bit odd. The hard top was JPS's first one and was way off but we cut and spliced it as well as repainted it to fit well. There are fist fulls of cash in it but it is over priced on eBay. I would think IMHO it could be had for $24k.
