paging Dr. Angela or Dr. Cory

I removed by bumpers tonight. On the rear bumper the black rubber inserts that fit into the frame and that the bumper sticks thru came off with the bumper. I need to remove the black silicone from the fiberglass before I reseal them.
Qusetion: How do I remove the silicone from the fiberglass without damaging it?

Don't worry about damaging the silicone. You can get more out of a tube. It should rub off the body with a little friction and your fingers. That should get most of it.

Dale's right. It should come off like rubber cement -- but if you can't get all of it that way, I use a product called Goo-Gone.

Any lable remover/sticker remover will work fine. Hit the super market or your local FLAPS.

Kelly - I can't help how my mind processes info, funny, sarcastic or otherwise. Also, I consider Vince a good friend with the same pragmatic outlook I have on many things in life (and a fellow Vet). I also play straight-man for Vince's sardonic wit (similar to Lane & Cory).
