Maybe a new topic? I don't know but I apologize if it's not.
Growing up with an older brother spraying his 47 coupes etc. I see that I was a little over-confident as far as painting. I read reviews on the right primer for glass. Saw a lot of positive reviews on the Evercoat G2 so I did that. Doing this with my 16-year-old son and it went on pretty easily. Despite learning spray pattern NOT ONE RUN.
But you have to be careful of temp (I know I know) because it sets up fast. Messes up the gun easily too. But it's nice and easy to sand despite the time consuming cleanup.
Now I'm looking at my Husky HVLP questioning... If I'm going to spend something stupid on original Porsche paint I don't want to screw it up with a cheap gun. I'm scoping a DeVilbiss and a Sharpe -any favorites???
