Paint on a Vintage Speedster

Hi Fellow members, I just purchased a Vintage Speedster built in 2008 or 2009. The Guard red paint has light scratches visible only in certain lighting. Does any one here know if Vintage applies a clear coat over base paint?

My 2007 build VS sure appears to be cleared. BTW I'm right now in the process of painting and clearing a new bumper using rattle cans. Last coat of clear should go on in 5 minutes or so. It is turning out great. I got everything from paintscratch.com. BTW mine is metallic if that may have made a difference back then.
