Does the full front-on view of the PGO Speedster make it look like an extra in the Pixar/Disney CARS movie or what?

I couldn't deal with a car that looked like it was about to speak . . . I have enough trouble when the cat snores. It's like living with a tiny black furred Walter Matthau. Sits around, messes up my stuff, licks his b&lls and snores.
Alan,

I can relate! My project list is actually kept in a 5-page spreadsheet that tends to lengthen and shortemn and that doesn't include the two-story, two-car garage addition I'm planning to have built with some of the work being done by me. Been trying to plan a local Speedster meet since May and at this point it's looking tentative - maybe this winter? :>)

Forgive me my speedster brothers and sisters for I have gone astray sorta...
We just completed our first year in the auto transport business...
I'm one of the lucky individuals, I'm still in business, very busy and doing better than anticipated.
Kim decided in favor of some "minor" home up dating and that also has gone beyond original thoughts. Hopefully I'll have this completed by the holidays and back on the speedster project.
I do appreciate your thoughts and advice, ALL has been seriously considered..and YES I have made a color choice...but I "ain't say'n just yet. I haven't painted a car since moving to PA from NJ some eight years ago.
I need to confirm a paint booth availability as a shop owner has offered it along with his tech support in exchange for a bit of petty cash and several cases of local brew..." Keystone Lite "
Progress pictures... I DO have pictures of eleven interior doors, three entrance doors, three patio slider doors and still to be completed kitchen cabinets, entire interior paint, flooring and the list goes on.
What I do appreciate ia all of the interest,posts and emails. I hope that I have come up with a reasonable speedster plan that will be a bit different. ~Alan
Kelly,

What kind of a fuel pump are you using? I've been using an electric rotary that has worked well. Here's a link to one at CBPerformance: http://www.cbperformance.com/catalog.asp?ProductID=577

BTW, speaking of winter cruises...a while back I found out a local friend takes his MG on a drive every Christmas day, weather permitting, regardless of the temperature - with the top down. We joined him in this tradition and now take both cars on the one-hour drive. (I have a merged exhaust with no heater boxes). One year we did the drive in single digits - needless to say, the alcohol afterwards is very warming.

OK, specifics: the replacement I put in is Airtex (assembled in Mexico) Model E8016S, that I got at Papa Parts, a local parts supplier (retail/wholesale) where they have just about everything, or can get it in two hours. Looks something like the one you show here in that it is a cylinder. Came equipped w/ a metal can filter installed on the inlet side. Cost about $50.00. The one that was in there was a Facet (made in the USA), from EMPI Part no. 41-2010-8. So far, the new one seems to be working fine. JPS says that they get about 10% failure rate on the Facets -- 10%!!!! What kind of QC is that?
Alan, These guys might be worth looking at;

Omaha Orange or Tangerine twist look like they are in the same family.
Great prices and they are local. They don't custom mix, jusr sell what they offer. I'm waiting for my color chips for the metallic purple(for my motorcycle).
