PALM SPRINGS CAR SHOW

Wouldn't be right if I didn't at least mention this show,
after all we are car guys...I was involved with the Judging
of this concours for many years till a recent regime change...
its really a great show on saturday with the concours on sunday
and the auction all weekend...Not to the standard of Barrett-
Jackson, but some unique cars to say the least.....
I entered MR356...if the weather is good, its a great place for
a show......

Only about a 1.5 hour drive for me, just how many cars show up for this shin-dig. Would not mind the drive in the 356 for a little show.

there is at least a few hundred cars for the cruise-in
parked on the street, probably that many again for the concours on sunday, usually more than that no. in the auction.....
All in all its a good car weekend.....weather permitting...
I'm planning on going Friday afternoon, coming back sunday....

Just a reminder for those who can't wait for Knotts....

Vince, do you still plan on attending with the questionable weather? From your past experience, do you know if the organizers allow day of event registration for the cruise-in?

must have been a little fuzzy....
Palm Springs was fun...The speedster looked good on the BLVD...
It did get wet, But Hey shit happens....These cars are not
made for other than fair weather to be sure, but it was more
mist/sprinkles than heavy downpour....
There was a Spyder on the auction block, but I wasen't there
when it went through so no idea how much or if it sold....
I put about 300 miles on MR 356 over the 3 days, No problems
I love driving it...
Now ready for Knotts and then on to Hotel Del Coronado...
