Given the weather hitting SoCal I was concerned they wouldn't make it all the way to Palm Springs even without Speedsters. But with Vince's post there is little doubt of there location.

PSPD posted this mug shot on their web site. Supposed sore looser at a poker game in their town was found wandering the streets naked except for holiday decorations.

Like I've said many times before, half the fun of owning one of these jewels is the people...
I want to thank Marty and Sandy for having the balls to fly all the way from Chi-town to join our motly crew, you fit in quite well. and talking about fitting in, that Bill is some character...I knew the second he put that goofy frigging hat on his head, that he was one of us....Jim and his lovely bride Ginny are always fun to be around and that A-hole Gerd...what can I say, I'll never understand what Carol sees in you...But thank you for the Guido hat.....
Larry B. missed the festivities due to illness, hope you feel better soon...Oh, Larry, you owe me nothing, the accomodations were perfect and all 5 bedrooms were used, including one of the Murphy beds which Gerd used because Carol refused to sleep with him...(can you blame her)

I'm still planning on Morro, but it's lookin like I'll be a co-pilot or at the very best, I'll drive the 911. I don't think I trust the speedster unless I get my ass moving and finish it. I still have work on the 911 to do and my kart needs a complete overhaul this winter.
Not enough room in the garage for all three so the speedy is sleeping at my fathers place for the winter. If the weather is decent this winter I may be able to get some stuff done.

Gerd---after reading about this insane weekend --if Marty heads that way again that could be an intelligence test that he fails!

Actually we are hoping for at least 4 drivers counting Mickey from Delaware to make the run to Morrow Bay in April. We need to start organizing the routes, meeting points and overnights. It would be fun to get daily updates with photos on here as we head accross to the left coast.

PSP sounds like it was great---nutty---but great.

What a fun weekend in Palm Springs. I now know the best part of our Speedsters is the Speedster Owners Club!! Great group of people, can't wait till the next one!

The 3 Amigos becomes the 4 Gabachos. Bill W never told us he was Randy Quaid's stunt double!!! Bill DEFINITELY fits in with this group of SOCers!! Video later tonight.

Here's a short video of our cruise to Palm Springs. Due to the rainy weather, and not having our Speedsters along, there are minimal driving clips. But like Vince says, we don't need cars to have a great time with our SOC friends!

Sandy and I wanted to thank everyone for a fun weekend. Special thanks go out to Jim, Will and Debbie. Will, I may have been intersted in that 911 Targa but we needed to move 16 cars to get to it. Life is good:)

It was fun to watch the video while in the frozen north, but I missed the credits at the end.

Also, innocent that I am, I don't understand the hand gesture I see Jim frequently make.
