I've been looking for a site like this for a long time!

I pretty recently sold a Cobra replica. I just didn't like it much at all.

Anyways, I have been doing research into a 356 replica. For those that have driven a replica with a pan and one with a tubular frame, what are the differences in the way it drives and handles? Are the pan framed cars structurally alright? If I understand correctly, they have to be cut and then welded back in order to shorten the wheelbase? Any cases of those frames breaking or stressing when driven over hard bumps?

I can't figure out how to use the search function on the forum but would like to know if there are any owners in the Dallas, TX area. I'd really love to come see one of these cars in person.

Thanks a bunch for the great forum.
