Pan vs.Tube frame | 356 Speedster, 550 Spyder, Replica, Automotive Community

I'm currently doing my due dillegence on what manufactuer to have build my speedster.The part that I'm somewhat confused or don't understand is what would be better a Pan frame or a Tube construction.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
