Auto-Linea casting. 62 cc intake runner volume, 300 FPM velocity, 170 CFM. All from 40/35.5, unported. $600/pr.
It's a new day, gentlemen. Let the garment rending begin.

FWIW, look at those cooling fins and holes. WOW.
Stan, do I need a set?

You do not. Nor do I.
Still....
Nice. Makes me want to build a type 1.

That's what I noticed as well, Stan.
I wonder how much more robust these are .... the flow seems awesome. I also wonder which engine setup PD will say works best and finally how cost effective it will be to build those.
Marty:
You could get a set as coffee table ornaments.
Or maybe outside near the grilling/brewski station, as conversation pieces.
I'm jus' sayin'........
Check out the thread Pat started on SAMBA:

The hp numbers he's getting with these heads is surprising.
I own the first set of the new production... :-)
Great what size engine is Pat building for you?
So what is the difference between the new 044 PanchItos and the CNC 043s? I have the old 043s and I'm just curious.
Better cooling.

I knew that.
Lucky dog.
The new panchito uses the same intake and exhaust port as the CNC ported 043 casting. The difference in the two heads are 3/4 reach 12mm spark plugs, 54cc combustion chamber with no step and more support around the combustion chamber. My goal was to have the same airflow and port velocity as the CNC ported 043 head but with a more affordable "as cast" head. I have done back to back dyno test on the two castings and they are within 3% off each other. It's a great new cylinder head that will lower engine build cost and assembly time. Hopefully engine builders will start using them over the cheap Chinese heads but who knows, it has become a profit over quality thing these days.
Hopefully with proper advice you're good people choosing the right stuff
I build nothing and know nothing but I gotta say: if this thing is what Pat says it is (and Pat has a reputation for telling the truth) then Pat Downs should have the option to travel in sedan chair, born by Speedster Guys & Bug Nuts, wherever he may go.
