Anyone ever figure a way to wire single filament park light bulb to interrupt power & blink as a turn signal, then when canceled returns to always lit as a park light ?

Why not replace lamp socket with a 2 contact one? When I was looking at Hella H4 headlamps for my Speedie (gets dark alone in garage), I noticed they have a headlight bulb that has extra filament available. The extra bulb in them is connected in Europe to the "parking light" circuit to provide low level light for inner city driving or parking on the curb. They are called "city lights." Kind of a DRL.
Allen......If "park lights" are the bulbs in the bottom of the headlight bucket, you may have an issue....I have been told that some states do not allow the use of these lights.....As an aside, I use mine.....check with the local mounties......
I did this in my 67 bus
Some states may not allow this as they can't be seen from the sides to well.
Decided to go sans front park lights and let the next owner do what they want.
