I have a whole host of parts for sale. Including, carpet kit, dash grab handle, etc.. I'm just trying to clear out space in the garage to make room for the new addition.

Some of this stuff is worthless, some of it has value. Check out the link and see everything I have. A lot of the Speedster-specific stuff is unused.

P.S. Please don't all make offers on the water temp gauge at once. You'll crash my email server :)

Thanks,
Adam

It all has worked out pretty well so far. Hopefully the buyer comes through on the car, and by parting out all of this stuff, I was able to take a little less for the vehicle.

Now if the seller of my next car would just call me back... it might be time to start shopping again.

Again, everyone, thanks for your help and support. I'm sure I'll be posting pictures of my baby leaving on the truck within the next couple of weeks :(
Now that deal is done and not to steal thread. How does one ensure that you got good money when you sell online to someone who is remote and they send the trucker to pick up? Seems so many certified checks are bogus and bank takes over a week to tell you - and they remove money from your account. Is postal money order always good and can it go to say $15,000? PayPal will reverse a transaction (even after you think you have the $) in a heart beat - leaving you helpless. I'm even afraid of the guy that shows up with a brief case full of bills. I'd want to have my bank verify each bill is ok with their "magic" marker. Just far too many scammers out there and all aren't in Nigeria anymore.

Back to topic - So what parts are still available and expected price? A CMC hood crest might be nostalgic.
I've done a good number of state side and international car sale transactions, all with out a problem.

Postal M/O has a $500 max.
PayPal is a nuisance at best and charges a % on the transaction which, on a big ticket item such as a car adds up quickly so, I avoid PayPal like the plaque.

For an in person sale, do not accept any form of printed instrument other than cold hard cash...if you question the validity of the cash meet the buyer at in bank.

For all others, a wire transfer is the golden goose...Even though my bank stated that receiving a wire transfer is a secure method of payment, I opened a dummy checking account with $100 for the purpose of wire transfers.

For US transfers you provide the routing number of the bank and your account number .

For international transfers you'll need your bank's SWIFT code the routing number and your account number.

Next post will have a Bill of Sale I made up some time ago. Print and fill in the spaces. ~Alan
