The Parts Obsolete Campout in McMinneville, Oregon is scheduled for June 11-13. You can bring your tent and camp with your car or plenty of close by motels. It looks like we will have a nice turn out of our replicars. We are most welcome as the show also attracts lots of V W
folks and cars. Swap meet on Sunday morning. Lets get a bunch of us NW
people to gather and talk about our favorite cars. The web site is www.partsobsolete.com . Info is all there, those that didn't make Knotts can redeem themselves by attending this big one. I will have a few Replica Rendezvous Knotts T shirts and Hats there for those that didn't get these collectibles.

Michele and I are planning on leaving the Sacramento/Vacaville area around noon on Thursday. We will be driving up I-5 and stopping in Redding to have a late lunch with a couple of Speedster buddies and then on to Medford OR for the night. Dinner with Bruce and his wife at one of the fine diners in Medford. We will be leaving Medford friday am and cruise up to McMinnviille, about 5 hours. Emory's has an all day car show on Saturday, but I am working on a 5 hour round trip out to and up the OR coast. We will have plenty of time to visit the car show, so if anyone wants to drive out to the coast with us, you would be most welcome. We would also enjoy some company driving up to Medford and from Medford to Emory's.
Dale, my wife and I may be able to make such a little detour from the event. Depends on whether or not we have the dog with us. The long range forecast looks favorable. We'll be there Friday afternoon as well. Look forward to meeting you.

George, at last check there were only a couple of Dean's engines in Gary's cars. Dean always makes his appearance as well. A great guy to talk to and one who builds dynamite engines. I'm in touch with him fairly regularly for a build possibility. We'll see. It's only money!
Dale,

Count me in for the drive to McMinnville. Do you want to take the shorter in distance but longer in time, way up there,(highly recommended) or the I-5 super slab yawner? Angela and Steve Lane plan on driving up in their black Spyder but don't know what day they are leaving. I'll touch bases with them.

By the way, you'll be glad to know I joined the 21st Century and Barb and I bought a cell phone this afternoon. That guarantees a trouble free drive!
