Well, let's see;

Wiper Motors and Blades

Stock VW for the motor. Anything after 1969 and I would talk with Jack at the Bug Stop in Pennsylvania (Alan! I lost Jack's number - Can you help?) to see if he has either some good used or some rebuilts.

I'm afraid I can't help much with arms and blades. Blades are 9" but I can't remember the MAPA number for the arm. Plus, depending on what motor assy you get the arms might be different.

External oil cooler and filter - DeRale or Setrab, 16-pass with integral cooling fan with thermostat switch. CB Performance or Bernie Bergman. DO NOT get the one that pulls the oil out via a block off plate which replaces the stock cooling tower. Run a 1971-on cooling tower and have the engine case drilled and tapped for "full flow" cooling, then run an external filter (CB Performance has a good, spin-on adapter) and the external cooler in series. filter element should be a WIX 51515 racing filter (I think....it's late and we've got the 6-yr-old grandson with us tonight)
