OK, all this talk about Carlisle is making me jealous! Yeah, we plan to be there and are excited about it but what about Paso? Having been there for the past two years I can tell you that it is the most relaxed, most fun, most social, most enjoyable, most friendly, most looked-forward-to gathering on the West coast !! We plan to be there with the first SOC showing of "Poquito Perfecto" and with big grins on our faces. We are looking forward to the winery drives, the day in the park, the shopping, the Bar-B-Q at the hotel and the lunches and drinks at noon across from the park. Maybe even a gathering at Mike's home?? Even when it rains this is the best group anyone could imagine. What fun and camaraderie! We even get to endure stories from Vince and Gerd and tgry to understand what Jim Ignacio is doing !! (I might even do a little more magic .. who can tell)

OK you guys and gals, let's hear it for Paso.

Happy Trails,
Dusty and the anxious Miss Sharon

PS
Don't forget to put the National Gathering in Loveland, CO, on your calendar for September 18 to 21.

For the Paso Robles meet, a lot of the SoCal SOC'ers meet Friday morning in Redondo Beach, then caravan up PCH to Malibu to hook up with the Valley SOC'ers. Then on up to Pismo for lunch and then on to Paso Robles, arriving around 3-4:00 pm. We usually have about 8 cars in the caravan (very cool spectacle on the road).

Vince's pic is from the '06 Paso Caravan. Here's some pics from last year's '07 Paso Caravan. Moral of the story, be pepared for either rain or shine (just ask Dusty & Sharon). Friday morning rendevous in Malibu was stormy weather, a couple of hours later, lunch on the sunny outdoor patio in Pismo Beach, then Saturday morning at Paso Robles Central Park (I think we had 40+ cars at the park).

We're really looking forward to another great weekend in Paso Robles with our SOC friends!!

P.S. - Dusty, Ginny & I will see you & Sharon in Colorado '08 (SOC meet or not)!

Peace - Out!
