Paso Speedster Gathering

Hi Everybody,
I'm Mike (the man from Paso) and I've been helping Theron put the gathering on. For those of you that are coming early and info or help don't hesitate to give me a call. I've put together a nice wine tour of what I think are good roads and good wine. Also feel free to use my home
phone or cell for a message board while you're here. If you are here Friday night let's all meet at the Thai Basil for dinner. The food has always been good and it's right next to the park, south west side about 7:00pm. If you want to stop by my house for a glass of wine before please do. 4:00 to 6:45 2477 Starling Court, call and I can talk you in or map it. Saturday morning we will start to bring in the cars about 9:30am at the south west corner of the park. If you want to be next to somebody or in a group it will be easier if you meet up first and then come in together. If you can't do that just say something we'll try to make it work.
FYI SOC members - Paso Robles with it wineries and promotions of wine and it downtown events this is a busy, busy, busy place. When I asked the city for some use of the park this was the only date I could get (not my choice but that was it). The city has been a help in this event and have given us our part of the park free. Please don't hesitate to call or stop by 805-238-3417 or 805-550-4755. SEE YOU IN PASO!

Mike - we're all looking forward to this event and meeting you! But we had planned on Bubba's BBQ on Friday night. Something about BBQ and a mechanical bull all on one site was very appealing especially since it is walking distance from the hotel where most of us are staying.

The Paso City Park Location
Paso Robles has its main street which is Spring Street, the park is is in the center of the city at 11th-12th Street. Coming from north or south take the first off ramp this will put you on Spring Street. The park is in the center of the city so you're not going to miss it. .....Unless you have stopped to taste wine. The cars will be coming into the park at the south west corner. We should be ready to start taking cars at 9:00 or so. HOT DAM IT LOOKS LIKE A GATHERING!

I was wrong, Centennial appears NOT to be CITY....
