PCA - Western Canada Region Whistler Weekend 2004, Aug 20-22

And we are invited!
Friday the 20th of Aug. meet at Intermeccanica (maybe for breakfast?) and then caravan up to Whistler. Welcome reception after check-in.
Saturday is the Concours (better known as a car show) with the cars parked in Blackcomb village (N of Whistler village). Awards banquet that night (buffet).
Sunday is an Autocross with another buffet that night for the Autocross awards.

As if we'd find a clear (traffic wise) straight stretch on that highway...ha, ha.

Henry was telling me today that they are working on a better price for us than $120.00. Is anyone interested in going if the price is right?

Would like to join in but we're covering weddings Fri, Sat & Sunday that weekend. At best I might be able to race up early Sat AM and back mid afternoon, provided my wife/business partner can survive Saturday without me.

Man, that would be an awesome trip. What a gorgeous place to have a Speedster. If only my teleporter device was working I could beam myself to Vancouver and go with you. But, alas, I must live through pictures. Have a great time you luck %$#@!

There is a new plan for this event. We are going seperate from the PCA guys. There will be a BBQ at IM on Friday Aug 20, contact me for details. Saturday Aug 21 the group will meet at 9:30 at Caulfield Village Starbucks which is just off the #1. Take exit #4 and you will be right there. Then we will cruise up the sea to sky highway to Whistler. From there we will have some lunch, check out the Porsche Club, and then maybe cruise to Pemberton and back.

Ron, I'm in for the Friday night party at IM and staying over for the Saturday blast to Whistler.
