PCA badge wanted

I am all about tan Angela.

I have a "Cool Vanilla" factory paint Dodge Ram.
I have a "Light Beige" factory paint '66 Mercedes SL
And I rather like the look of a Tan speedy. Bamboo on a 911 is really a difficult choice, but I dig that owners like it. I would have luved to been there when the person who placed the order for that S/C made the choice, just to see what they were thinking at that moment.

They were thinking "cool - I'll never have to wash it because it will never show dirt."

I was fueling Butters up one time on a road trip, I think I was in Idaho. A fella in the nearby pump called the car "concrete blonde." I thought that was kind of a cool nickname for the car and color. However, since the day I brought him home from San Francisco, he has been "Butters.".

Other weird Porsche colors I like are Tobacco, Cassis, Rosewood, of course Fishcop(acid), and Petrol.

Betsy loves me but not as much as the new Jen-Aire. BYW why would you cure firewood in the oven? Why not just throw it on the fire and burn it?

Well, Jeanie loves me MORE than the dual-fuel, dual-oven, convection Jenn-Air in the kitchen. Why, I cannot tell you.

Firewood that isn't "seasoned" still has a lot of moisture in it. Getting wet wood to burn in a fireplace is pretty difficult. If a guy would have the foresight to cut his own wood before the snow made it prohibitive, or get his wood from somebody besides his "old friend" in the tree-service business, he wouldn't have to cure it in the oven for 3 or 4 hours.

FWIW, the wood smells a lot better than the curing powder.

i buy my oak 2 years in advance an d let it cure. i have one acre in country so storage is no problem. nothing like a good fire that is easy to maintain.
