Is there a member of the PCA here who could help me out with a PCA swag purchase? I'd really love to have A PCA "grill" badge, a couple of window decals (outside window application), and a tie tack.

I'm not a member so I would need someone who WAS to buy them for me. I could forward you reimbursement + shipping via PayPal or check and then, when you got 'em, . . . you could send the stuff on to me!

Any help?

THANKS in advance!

Andres,

If you could order me:

One of the grill badges.
Two of the decals for the OUTSIDE of the window.
One tie tack.

It would be really great! Just let me know how much the total comes to, add mailing cost to Kingston, MA 02364, and your trouble/time, and let me know how much to send, and where to send it, I'll pop a check right into the post for you!

Thanks So much for the help ! ! !

T.C.

Ordered this morning.

I got you the:

1 - Grill Badge - 4 color
2 - Outside 3-1/2" Diameter Mylar Decals
1 - Tie Tack

Total cost was $24.00
Shipping $7.00
Total owed to PCA $31.00

Once I get the items I will send out to you. Not sure what the cost would be but I am thinking a lot less than $7.00

I have the badge on my speedster and it looks great.

Andres
No NO, all of this, except for the tie tack, is for the franken-style '65. Part of The Masquerade.

Since the car is ending up so mechanically radical, and the body panels are mostly thin candy shells, I'm hoping to push the outward appearance back a few years into the fifties by altering the rear panel, messing with the "trim", mimicking some of those cool vintage accessories that they put on their early cars, AND legitimizing the whole thing by wrapping it up in a PCA package.

For instance, the rear deck lid is a re-contoured old racing Abarth piece from those little Fiat 600 giant killers, with louvers, stand-offs and hatch pins, BUT it'll have a PCA and a 356 Registry badge on either side of the aluminum lift up air inlet panel.

I'm shooting for weird, wonderful and WTF in the end. HOPEFULLY something to show this Summer with some peek-a-boo pics in the Spring.

The tie tack is for the "55 . . . . I was gonna use it as an ear ring, but . . .

I SURE DID ! ! ! Sweet car you're in the midst of there, it REALLY looks a lot like the Porsche roadster that you're working towards. A wonderful masquerade. From what I could see, the body work is seamless.

You ought to post them here and get a few kudos from the rest of the gang.

What's your time table for completion? Anything concrete?

Really terrific work ! ! !

TC
Andres,

The stuff just got here ! ! ! Thanks SO much, I feel so legit ! ! ! !

I just placed a PCA grill badge over one bank of louvers on the deck lid and INSTANTLY it looked "right" . . .

These items are gonna go a long way towards making my car appear correct.

Again, thatnks for your help ! ! ! !
