most new pedal cars go in the 500 range, this leads me to believe that the people marketing such products know this is about the limit of the normal pedal car market......of course a custom built to match grandpas real car would surely be able to sell much higher, I think chassis design or pan version would be just fine LOL
Theron,

Seriously, There may be a market for a Speedster pedal car. I've seen a few at swap meets, Hershey in particular, with price tags of $12,000. Of course when you go by the booth later in the week they are still there. I think a Speedster pedal car would be a seller in the right market. I'd approach your local Porsche dealer and mention the idea, (not that is a Speedster) and see if they are interested in selling them. I don't know how you would handle the patent or copyright to protect your venture, I'd think that would be critical or you'd start getting knockoffs from Mexico in a heartbeat. Might be more trouble than it is worth. Maybe just a limited offering to Porschefiles. My ramblings, Bruce
