Those MOMO Stealth pedal are sweet, always liked 'em but so expensive. If they aren't destined for the raffle, what are you asking for your set? If they ARE being placed in the raffle, all the more reason for me to try to get down there this year.
Thanks !

Aaron, don't sell them to TC, make hime come get them in person at the Carlisle raffle! Chances are, he'll keep coming back.........
Does TC even own a Speedster? NO photos in his files. The MOMOs sale for around $80 and up. Maybe I should "clean out" my garage cabinets.
Any thing from original Porsche baby moons still in the wrapper with Porsche labels and bar codes. Big bucks?

Thanks for the speedy email Aaron, I'm gonna pass on the MOMO pedals and go for the set that Alan is using in his car. The "Porsche" logo is just too hard to resist.
To answer your quick question. NO, I don't have a Speedster. I had half of one which was what led me here. I bought a '55 356 Coupe mounted on a shortened VW pan, literally out of a barn in Maine. It came with a neat photograph of the car rolled onto it's side having the rotted original Porsche undercarriage cut out of it and a fiberglass front clip. I sold the front clip almost immediately and came here looking for a rear to turn my metal coupe into a Speedster.
Went all around the Horn on the coupe, bought every little scrap needed to put it together in the Speedster tradition, and have finally begun to re-build it in earnest. If I don't buy the TVR this weekend or next, I'll be committed for real.
But no, not a Speedster, but closer to a Speedster than a genuine Porsche for sure.
And even though I'm a payin' member, I've yet to establish a photo gallery. Just can't seen to get it to work right. Tried and failed, figured that I can live with Photobucket instead.

TC, what model TVR are you considering? Been there / done that with a few pre-wedge cars....last one I had I shipped to my son in England ( sent the car "home" so to speak ). You don't often see people talking about TVR's, so I couldn't resist asking!

I've owned two Tasmins, loved the way that they drove, but the looks were a little too wedge/Lotus for me to stick with. Far to short in the rear/long in the front.
There's a 2500M right-hand drive Tuscan around the corner and a mile or so down from the garage in Carver. It needs all of the usual, but I'm pretty comfortable with that, done work on others and know what to look for and take care of.
This past weekend was a bust, this Saturday looks like it'll be the day to make my final offer and just live with the results. I'll been after the car for two years now, sort of like the poor guy trying to buy my 356 in a lot of ways. If I get the TVR, then he gets the 356 and we all win.

Griffith, baby, Griffith. They are BEAUTIFUL!
I drooled over a new 3000M for months at a local dealer back around 1980 that he just couldn't find anyone to buy for as I recall about $16,000 (or something ridiculous in that area). One Saturday afternoon he even let me take it out for a little incentive to buy. I had a real hard time bringing it back after a nice 50 miles or so...I was so close to making a pact with the devil that day.
