You have stock VW bug pedal assembly probably with chrome and black rubber EMPI covers.  I got a set of billet ones from CIP1 that offer good foot grip and look racy for $16.  Get 2 sets and use the other gas petal for a dead man pedal.  Couple of holes to drill.  I don't think they came with stainless steel screws (or any screws).

Our buddy, SOCer Kevin Zagar is owner/operator of CoolRydes Customs in San Diego. Aside from the Mendeola A-arm Suspension kits, he produces a lot of other custom items including pedal clusters.

All his stuff is quality and can be pricey. Here is a link to his custom pedal cluster that will fit most any replica Speedster. @Ryan (formerly) in NorCal

Just a suggestion, but if you cut/grind/sand the bottom sides at a slight angle the pedals look a little more P-like in  my opinion.  Not quite so square.

Also, Vintage Speed in Taiwan had a nice accelerator assembly at their booth at the Texas VW Classic, but I haven't seen it on their website.  I intend to replace my accelerator pedal at some point.  The site that Al links above has a really nice gas pedal assembly!

My new Vintage Motorsports Spyder came with the OMP pedal covers installed by Greg Leach. They look great and work fine. I don't believe they are that expensive at all.

I also have a set of the ones from CIP1.com that I purchased years ago. They came with flathead phillips screws and nylock nuts. Last week I made a set of pedal extensions for my girlfriend and used them on the business end.
