Pegusus

I wonder if anyone has seen the Mobil Pegusus in any color other than red? Red wouldn't show up well on my red car. Black would look OK I think.

I you can order them in different color schemes....I ordered a red and white set and a red with silver edges set. They haven't arrived yet so I can't tell you how they look???

Bruce, how about a really big Pegasus on the hood, ala the Trans Am screaming chicken? I was thinking in ghost flames type of red? It's the shizzle!

I donated a set to the Knott's raffle last year that were black with white outlines. It actually looked pretty good on my black car, more of a white drawing. Ive seen several red pegs on red cars. Looks fine Bruce!

Yes, I remember the ones you donated. Do you remember where you got them? I was looking in the 356 Registry magazine tonight and notice a vendor has Shell decals for sale. I assume these are the yellow shell logo's. Are they authentic or "period?" I can't ever remember seeing them on a 356.

could not dredge up the infor on the black Pegs. I did get some from this guy deanwear@wabash.net His name is Scott Purdy. I seem to remember that one of us on this site may have had some problems with receiving his order. Might have been "carumba" but I am not sure. I had no problems and he was quick in my purchase. I believe you are right about Purdy. Eddie was the one with severe delivery problem from this guy. If I remember right Eddie finally got in touch with this guys dad you made the son deliver as promised. I think I'll stay away from Purdy, don't need the hassle! Thanks!

Hi guys. yes it was me who had problems with Scott Purdy and his stickers. I forget how many months it took to finally get them by talking to his dad, but I did get them after many calls and emails. The reason I had so much trouble is because I wanted static cling Pegasus stickers not adhesive ones.There are less people selling that type. They worked fine too.

Re Pegusus,

I took Gary's tip and got into Route 30 Classic's web site, pretty nice site. I sent him an e mail about the Pegusus and he has the red now. They are the static version, prices are good also. He is going to be at the early Feb toy and lit show and the new Dunkles show in LA selling his stuff. From there he is leaving for the Baja for some sun and fun until April when he will be back and make any color Pegusus needed. If you need a red one now, good site. I think his price was about $11, check it on the site to be sure.
I'll get ahold of him in April I think! He also has those Speedster hard tonneau's with the headrest, I think $395!
