I'm back again looking for experienced advice...actually 'confirmation' of recent advice.
The metal bows (2) on my vinyl softtop are held in position in vinyl sheaths glued to the underside of the top. The adhesion has failed! I've tried Dap contact cement with no success...simply not strong enough to resist the stress.
I've been advised to spread the ShoeGoo thinly and allow it to cure for 72 hours before reassembling the bows.
Are there other suggestions/products out there that have been used with success?
I'd hate to wait 72 hours only to discover that there were better alternatives.
