This will be the Plate for the new drdemanto ride....
I found a soldier who wanted a new toy...he is (hopefully) the proud owner of a Hardtail Shovelhead Harley Davidson. I, in turn is the happy new owner of a Fiberfab (built in 1990) very fat speedster.
I had to kick in a few K to complete the deal, and there are a few registration issues, but that is all workable.....the red beast is in my garage and will be seen cruising the PCH in the very near future...I also get to keep the Ghia.....
i know you are all happy for me, i am happy for me too....

No, I do not plan on taking PHATTUB to Colorado, but it will be at Morro Bay next year, and I can almost guarantee Eddie and Terry won't lose me in the canyons again....
I babied my last one, this one will be a driver.....
Theron,
I guess you didn't understand the significance of why Vince posted this thread originally in the events forum.
It truly is an event.
Here we have a man (I think, the purchase of a twinkie Ghia does place some doubt ;)) who has a habit of selling cars and motorcycles faster than he drinks a bottle of Oban.
He sells his first speedster only to lament and regret it to the point of nausea.
He hassles everyone about getting another speedster. Of course, he blames this on his beautiful wife.
He finally gets another speedster- a FATBOY, no less!
This, indeed, is an EVENT.
Vince, I love ya, man! I'm glad you're back with a speedster.
And you're keeping the Ghia............do you wear Teri's underwear when you drive it? ;)
Terry, I actually put her underwear on one night by mistake....it was dark, we were watching some girls mud wrestling, you know how it goes....
You are absolutely correct, I did post this as an event, because I was so excited to be back....The Twinkie satisfies the collector part of me, where the speedster is pure fun...
After my Accident, I just became to paranoid, to many idiots out there, trading the Harley was an easy decision....
Will - Actually, you guys went the right way. Eddie took the wrong road and we ended up terrorizing bicyclists. We were going so fast, I couldn't tell whether they were giving us the thumbs up or some middle digit. Oh, and the CHP we went by gave us a real long look but didn't stop anyone. Whew! I think next year we should drive a little more sane. Probably not. I can't do driving school again for another 12 months. Anyway Vince, looking forward to seeing the Phat Tub. We gotta get together before next April.
