Terry, next year at Morro Bay, you will NOT lose me on the cruise thru the canyons...
This will be the Plate for the new drdemanto ride....
I found a soldier who wanted a new toy...he is (hopefully) the proud owner of a Hardtail Shovelhead Harley Davidson. I, in turn is the happy new owner of a Fiberfab (built in 1990) very fat speedster.
I had to kick in a few K to complete the deal, and there are a few registration issues, but that is all workable.....the red beast is in my garage and will be seen cruising the PCH in the very near future...I also get to keep the Ghia.....

Gongrats on you new ride. How does it compare with the old one? ride quality, fit and finish, power etc.
This was more a buy based on who was willing to take the Harley on trade, being able to keep my ghia, close to home, no shipping. I can modify this one over time to be whatever i want, and being a wide body there is no question as to originality....

BTW is was nice meeting you and your wife at the euro show last weekend. I did look at the 74 Ghia coupe but it was too much project for me. Have to keep my focus on my current toy.

Here we have a man (I think, the purchase of a twinkie Ghia does place some doubt ;)) who has a habit of selling cars and motorcycles faster than he drinks a bottle of Oban.
He sells his first speedster only to lament and regret it to the point of nausea.
He hassles everyone about getting another speedster. Of course, he blames this on his beautiful wife.
He finally gets another speedster- a FATBOY, no less!

Will, you are my wing man, I won't forget how you saved me and the wife, lost in the backwoods of Morro Bay, driving aimlessly thru the canyons in my Twinkie.....If it wasn't for you and your trusty map, our bones would be somewhere between Morro Bay and Paso Robles right now.....
Will - Actually, you guys went the right way. Eddie took the wrong road and we ended up terrorizing bicyclists. We were going so fast, I couldn't tell whether they were giving us the thumbs up or some middle digit. Oh, and the CHP we went by gave us a real long look but didn't stop anyone. Whew! I think next year we should drive a little more sane. Probably not. I can't do driving school again for another 12 months. Anyway Vince, looking forward to seeing the Phat Tub. We gotta get together before next April.
