Woo Hoo! @Marty Grzynkowicz
Fade in to long shot of ivory Intermeccanica carving through bends on two-lane mountain road.
Cut to closeup of hands in string-back driving gloves on mahogany steering wheel.
Voiceover:
"Spring is knowing there's a whole summer of driving adventures ahead, and after that - even better - the fall."
"What's in your wallet? "
Glad to see you are on the road, Marty. I've already put on a few hundred miles tooting around southern Ontario, on these too warm Spring days we have had recently.
I still love the sound of a flat six...especially after a long winter.
Get out and drive that car.
Work? Yes, I think I remember what that is...
Good for you Marty.

My beauty is scheduled for pickup this week. At this point seeing will be believing. Some times I don't ever think I'll see my car. Intercity contacted for delivery March 27. Sheesh!!
Yes, after not seeing it for 5.5 months, it is like a Reunion. There is not many cooler cars to have in your garage
Can't wait to see your car in the mountains .
Loved Sacto Mitch comment....

Why wait? We'll be seeing it in exactly 2 weeks! Cutting it close, Phil. If it doesn't ship soon, they can just deliver to Carlisle LOL! Then Greg would have to show up.....

Less than I ever imagined.
But that's OK, because you'll just go out and make more. Right, Stan?

I wonder how many of us were first drawn to these cars because, "Hey, it's got a VW engine (or a Subaru) - it'll be dirt cheap to keep running."
While real Porsche (expensive +), Ferrari or Lamborghinis parts prices sometimes approach the stratosphere, I learned a long time ago that hot rodding my lowly VW was any thing but cheap...
Cheap is an LS in anything. Yes, this is cheap as compared to a Porsche. So is everything.
Yeah, so to make things better, I go out and buy a fragile Italian car
Sunny, 80 plus, tourists are starting to show up.
Pompano are running, water is getting warm and the camellias and azaleas have just finished their first bloom.
We have a house full of my wife's girlfriends, our sons are finishing their studies for their AP exams, and thankfully the Speedster is running well.
I intend to spend an inordinate amount of time in it over the next few days and until the girlfriends are gone and the testing is over.
These are the times when I appreciate the car the most.
