WHAT AN AWESOME DAY ON THE WATER!!!! Clear skies, 80 degrees, cool breeze and 12 wild SOCers having a great day cruising Newport Beach harbor. Had a great time hanging with our SOC friends.

Thank you Jim for coordinating such a fun day! Debbie and I enjoyed everything from Vince's attempted rescue of the damsels in distress to the Verbrechter's Hot Balls/Cold Underwear display. And what fun to sing a Village People song to Robert for his birthday. I didn't even know he was Gay! I think I was as surprised as Tamara! Jennifer, don't forget to find us a house on Newport Bay, because GERD is buying that winning lottery ticket tonight. Great time!

GERD, thanks for the Speedster/Spyder mug, but that "replica" that you found in your "Crab Pot" was not to scale!

That Axis of Evil....they could make a priest say, "I don't think I CAN save your souls!" or was it "I don't WANT to save your souls!" You guys have a magic that is unbelievable. They got me on my feet with a silly hat on singing "YMCA" in a restaurant! That's some strong medicine!

Nw THAT would have been worth a flight out west just to see.

Sounds like a blast... as usual.... Jimbo great job as always my Brutha... Lili and I had a blast getting up at 5:30 and going over to Mt. Sac and waiting till 11:45 for Dylans race... The good news is that he did well and placed 15 in class of 85. 2-miles in 11:02, that's just over 5 minutes a mile.. I couldn't even drive that fast.. LOL.. Looking forward to the next event here on the sunny side of SOC land!

OK, as unofficial ambassador of the right coast, got-no-friends-with-sailbotas, don't live by the water anyway, land-locked, unwashed east-coasters, I'll say it, again: You SOCal-ers make me sick. You are just having too much fun, and I want you to stop it right now!! It's not fair, I say, just not fair!

Glad to hear that everyone had as good a time as we did. We missed those who were unable to make it this time around, but the next SOC non-car event is in the works!

We could also just do/re-schedule the Alternative-To -Lake-Arrowhead--OC-Canyon-Cruise that was postponed from earlier. Any interest?

OC Canyon cruise works for me...Since I canceled my Hawaii trip my calendar is pretty clear....
I have a flyer for a "Beach Cruise" on the 27th of this month..

For once I agree with Gerd, 50% of ownership of one of these tubs is the driving experience, another 50% is hanging with the group, and the rest of the percentage is working on, and looking at them...

Sorry for the late reply my friends. Me and Master D had a fantastic time on the Duffy cruise. I mean really whats not to love, wine, food, good music, and my speedster buddies, I love it!!! Thanks Jim for putting this together, as usual, we had a blast.
