I'm looking for pics of members cars with swingaxle. I have a front disc brake kit with 2.5" drop spindles but have been reluctant to install them because of the camber of dropping the rear. I would like to see some pics of how low I can go without showing a lot of camber on 4.5" wheels.
Thanks,
Scott
Scott, If you lower your swing axle car to where the finder well lip is just at the rim edge you'll be OK....if you go below the rim edge you'll see the camber quite a bit....and you'll start seeing pretty rapid inside tire wear too. But the low cars sure do look good! Lambros car looks GREAT! When I first purchased my car it was about 1/2" below the wheel rim edge...Boy did it look great....But I hate that camber look from the back and I had about a 2 to 2 1/2 " of travel in my rear suspinion. Yea, it rode like a wooden saw horse. So I raised it up to just a tad over the wheel lip. Much better ride and I can live with the look! 1st pic is before the 2nd pics are after the raise back up.

Well,
After looking at my car closer I'm realizing it is a mute point. There is already rake on my car and slight camber in the rear so if I were to lower the rear more than an inch it would have way to much camber. So I guess I will be selling the disc brake kit or at least the drop spindles. I might lower the rear about .5-.75" but dialing it in may be more trouble than it is worth. And just an update. I got body stripped and have painted everything but the outside of the car black. Am waiting for a nice warm day to get started.
