I've always thought yours was one of the nicest wide-bodies I'd seen. Now I'm convinced. I love the look of the new decklid and those lights.

Actually, Gerd, your camera issue may be that you have it set for too MUCH resolution. I have the same issue when I forget to set my image size smaller. When I upload them to the site, despite being smaller than the upper limit, it often reduced the resolution on me.

Ummm... I read in the past about a Porsche racing team (from Holland?) and they had a special blue color for their cars. I think it was like Meisner Blue or something. Long time ago. As I recall, the demand for the color was such that the Porsche factory used the color for special orders.

Does anyone know the story? I have been curious because two of my model collection are blue.

Porsche had a color in 1957 called Meissen Blue. #5703. Almost looks like Robins Egg Blue in the pictures I've seen. Go to Google Images Meissen Blue Porsche 356 and take your pick.
