Annaliese, I am shocked - just shocked - to hear that you and your speedster are attracting such attention from rude and ill-mannered men on the streets of LA!

I'm an aging, bald-headed geezer still a few months away from ordering my car and have been hanging out here for a while to learn what owning a speedster is all about.

If that is the kind of behavior I'll be seeing from the women of Sacramento, I may have to get a Geo Metro instead.

Hey Annaliese! We're doing a cruise through the various canyons & back roads of Orange County this weekend (Sat 25th). If you have no plans for that day, consider joining us for the afternoon (small group of 6 or 7 cars on this cruise). Starts at 10:00 in Mission Viejo (just south of the 405 & I-5 junction). Should be finished in the early afternoon so you could probably be home by 3:00-4:00pm.

Check the "Event's" thread and 'Another SoCal SOC cruise'. Hope you can join us!

Peace-Out!

We'll be organizing a shake-down cruise for Cuz'n Vinny's car (truck) in the next couple of weeks. We typically rendezvous in Malibu (where Topanga Cyn meets PCH) and then cruise Hwy 1 up the coast to this beer dive in Channel Island, The Rudder Room. We usually get around 10 Speedies and their knucklehead owners to show up for this. Hopefully you can join us then (not that you're a knucklehead or anything, I'm just saying).

We'll light a candle for your travels to the East Coast and safe return!

Peace-Out!

Hi Annaliese---What a saga you have been on since joining "Speederdom"  Your car is gorgeous and it's easy to see how you hung in there to get it all sorted out.

A few of us are planning to attend the San Louis Obispo event next spring----I believe if you were going to be there it would increase the numbers of the contingent from the East.

--Hope to see you and that beautiful Speedster in San Louis Obispo!  Bring your dad too!!
