I just posted some pictures of my CMC flareside under Jogyver in the files. Just completed the engine compartment with brushed aluminum. I have a few pictures of my front bumper/crash structure. One picture is the left side structure with a mount for the driving light. These lights will beam trough the horn grills for extra lighting at night. enjoy

Nice metal fabrication job! Keep up the good work. I am at the end of my 14 month Speedster build journey. All the fun and effort is well worth building/restoring these cars. I've only put about 7 (illegal) miles on my car and the only regret is that I shouldn't have totaled up my recipts.

Have fun...post more pics.

Jerome: You should ask yourself: would you total the receipts if you were spending the money on golfing? On photography? Or on any other hobby? You have to think of these cars as a hobby that gives you pleasure.

Think of everything you have learned over the past year or so while working on this car; all the problem solving skills you have developed; all the e-friends you have made while sharing your frustrations and joys; and all the fun you will get when the car is on the road.

As with all hobbies, you never get your money back, but you do spend some wonderful time learning new skills, and learning things about yourself :-)

Cheers
It almost makes me want to build another one. In fact now my wife wants one, until I told her what it would cost her. Although it would be cool to have a "Traditional" right next to my "C". Oh man then I could put the "mild" stock engine out of the "C" into her car and build a monster Type 1 or a Raby Massive type 4....(drool)

I better stop and get back to work,

Jerome

BTW: Iposted some new pics I took this weekend. Check out the subwoofers, I really like the way they turned out.
