Me, JNC and others met up yesterday morning with the beautiful Socal sun already blazing away.  It was stuffed with Porsche cars of all makes and models which ranged up to multi millions for one car. There was a grey Speedster, freshly restored which cost around 500K that was just gorgeous !  All in all, unlike Michael McKelvey's "Cruise n Coffee" which seemed to have a lot of beautiful Hot Rods, this one had at least 100 Porsches . My appreciation runs deep for the Hot Rods because I know what it takes to build one. A lot of time, money and effort ! Many of the Porsche cars at this show are owned by people who just buy and drive them. They show up at these events for a lot of reasons unknown to me but they seem to be enjoying themselves as much as anyone there.

In the back rows, there are tons of other interesting cars to look at and talk to their owners. I especially liked the Lotus 7 and the red Porsche 914

Jnc's friend had his beautiful black Speedster (made by Vintage in Phoenix ) there and I noticed that it has no heater or defroster vents. It sure made for a very clean looking carpet install ! I believe defrosters are required according to Calif vehicle codes but perhaps not in Arizona where it was built

There were a LOT OF CARS there ..............Enjoy the photos !............Bruce

We need to talk about finger placement while taking photos Bruce.

I did that the other day. I was up at Sundance and the stream was running loud and strong, so I propped my phone on the bridge railing and tried to shoot a 30 second “Moment of Zen” video. I got home and loaded it up to my computer to loop in into a 10 minute video only to notice my thumb in about 15 seconds of the raw video.

So much for my “Moment of Zen!”

Robert M................Holy Cow ! Never noticed it until you mentioned it !  I know why too !

Just had a small bone removed from the base of my left thumb. Trapeziocarpalectimy or some such thing. Some call it a name with the word Anchovie in it as well. basically the small bone in your wrist at the base of your first thumb joint wears out so they remove it and then strip out one third of one of the ligaments in that area and roll it up like an anchovie with sutures thru it to keep it rolled up. This is inserted in the void where they removed the bone and keeps your thumb from being shorter. One hour outpatient procedure but 6 to 8 weeks in a fiberglass cast after.

So, I'm sure my photo skills will improve later.  Ha Ha ! I just can't hold my phone with my thumb right now....Stitches come out this Friday and a new cast installed

Michael....You noticed !  I'm sure it was meant to be German........"NO Water" Pretty Cool !.................Bruce
