I'm working on putting together a video of the SOC Pismo 2011. The rain limited my road and event videos so if you would like to include some of your favorite pics to be included please forward by Thursday (06/09/11) to me at;

Thanks!

Derek -

Cars start rolling into the C&C exhibit area pretty early. I typically roll in about 06:45, and by 07:00-07:15 the place is full and they start directing cars into an overflow lot by the Mazda building. I'll try to find a few spots in the lot area that backs up to the freeway. See ya there

OK, I know I'm really late with this, but..
MAAAAN, Jim, I love that shot of your speedie with the skis on the back!!!
That's just the coolest thing ever.
I'm totally gonna do that.
I've got the old suitcase, skis, poles. Just need a luggage rack. I'm sure they sell 'em around here somewhere.

Only recently got the last of pics to be contributed for the video. Didn't want to leave anybody out. Now onto the project. With cropping, editing video format, conversion to mp4 format, etc. this usually takes a solid 4-5 hours. Hope to finish and post by this weekend.

Bill - I got those cool skis/poles from a good friend, Cal Monsma. He and his wife brought their Speedster from Oklahoma City to the SOC gig in Morro Bay and he turned me onto these Nordic skis with bamboo poles. Mounted on my Reutter luggage rack with leather straps.

I saw a NEAT Rover the other day. It was the two-door model that looks like it would be in a Safari (brain fart, can't remember the name).

Anyway, it was a turbo-diesel, with a bigger turbo, a chip, snorkel, and air lockers. It was AWESOME! Never seen a diesel Rover in this country. Thought of you as soon as i spotted it. Wish I'd brought my camera.
