Jack's mostly right, so let me expand on it a bit as a past organizer at Carlisle...
Yes, there are four "awards" at Carlisle.
Longest distance driven by a Speedster and Spyder (separate awards).
Longest distance trailered by a Speedster and Spyder (ditto)
We've limited it to those two categories because they're pretty cut-and-dried: Either you drove/trailered farther or you didn't and it's all in good fun. When you get into "viewer's choice" or "best Paint" or some such someone always gets bent out of shape over something so we don't even bother with that sort of stuff. In fact, many of us don't bother entering into judged events at all.
We have, in some years, had other awards to recognize those who contribute mightily to the success of the event but work in the background and don't win the above categories, and I often had something special (or at least a couple of free dinners) for those presenting or speaking at the Saturday dinner.
The actual awards have varied a lot, too, from plaque-mounted model Speedsters and Spyders to plaque-mounted model cars on model trailers - pretty cool, actually and really one-of-a-kind, to vintage Porsche and racing posters, to one-off beer mugs to a lot of original artwork drawings by our own Cory Drake.
Still, you're dancing on cactus spines to get into the "award" business unless you remove the subjectivity from it. Remember: It's supposed to be a FUN event!
