Special thanks to Jen and Waren for putting on such a GREAT non event / non gathering, without any orginization once so ever, for a non club with no leaders, and no official name (SOC caugh, caugh). Of ocrse it is also not an anual non event..... :)

Enough of that non stuff. Thanks again.
It was great bench racing and talking about our passion, meeting new faces, and putting faces with screen names. You guys and gals were great and I am already looking forward to next years non anual, non meet / event..... Well except for having to see Vince again... :)

Wait I know what this whole thing was about, a bunch of great people who just happen to have the same type of cars. I wonder if Prius people do the same thing.....

Here's is 22 minutes of raw footage from the Saturday afternoon drive. Will and Vince almost pick-up a 3rd passenger as we encounter some insane skateboarders on the way down. Watch for it between 1:15 and 1:55 into the video.
The video is still processing as I post this, so if it isn't there check back in an hour or so.

Heading home now. This weekend could not have been more perfect! Thank you to everyone who made it, spending time with all of you is what makes this trip so great. And extra thanks to warren and karen for hosting us in their home friday evening and planning awesome drives for saturday. Already looking forward to next year- I can't wait to see what Vince (um, Teri) plans for us!

Just got back, tub ran perfect, even Saturday afternoon's run thru the canyons in pretty good heat, didn't affect the motor, ran mid range on the guage, so I'm a happy camper with the new motor....

Thanks to everyone who attended, I believe it was a smaller group than usual by a few, but you'd never know it by the decible level at the banquet Saturday night....
Raffle went a little longer than planned, but most probably because the rules were not understandable by some...(you had to be there)

Special thanks to Warren & Karen, for giving this motly crew access to their beautiful house, & the Saturday cruises, Blake & Jen (mostly Jen I'm sure) for the planning (Hotel etc) & also Jim for the event shirts, they worked out perfect...

I somehow got volunteered to non-organize next years non-event, so stay tuned for information concerning next year's event and if you have suggestions, please post or email to me....

We had one "Fantastic and Memorable" Time! Last night cracked me up!

Hope everyone is home/tucked in safe & sound.

We peeled out of the hotel at 3:41am this morning and got home around 1pm. We had a WONDERFUL time! It was really fun for me to hang out with all-ya-all and my handsome husband. We spent a few hours on Saturday at Avila Beach. Both of us got a little sunburn.

Hey Everyone - Thanks for a great weekend and a big thanks to Karen and Warren for opening their home to the Speedster gang and for planning the "Gimmick Run". Ok, OK, everyone is sending out their typical mushy "oh thank you all so much" lines of crap... Lets tell the truth here... I have never been around so many people that actually LIKE Mexicans!

I couldn't believe it... Besides GERD (pronounced) GERD! everyone was actually listening to my old and corny stories... and Mary i was at the POOL and believe me I did not need a camera young lady... Oh La La...

Everyone did an awesome job on their assigned tasks, and I even paid Jim for my shirt.. of course it was on the way home at the In & Out, but I found him...

The only thing I missed this weekend was my Lili... She would of have a blast too... oh she finished my Rib-eye steak yesterday... She loved it...

Ok, Ok so we are all waiting for next years event... Vince I can't wait.. I heard from the grapevine that it looks like a 3-day weekend trip to South El Monte at the vagabond Inn over looking Legg Lake recreation area.

Thanks to EVERYONE for putting up with this minority over the past 3 days.. I had a blast as usual...

Speedster "D" "can't complain about anything here..."

No kidding!! What a great time with the group. This was the most fun one can have with their clothes on (Marko, I heard you had them off so that's cheating!).

Thanks to Jen and Blake for the organization and Warren and Karen, while we didn't get to join you on Friday, I'm sure it was top notch as usual!

Dave, I've been putting up with Mexicans for a long time (or is it they put up with me?? hmmm?!) Anyway, it was great to see you and hope to see Lilli soon.

Gerd, remember, what happens at the campfire stays... Ah, forget it, none us really remember the specifics anyway. Thanks to the 15 year old that drove us from Pismo to Avila and back, but that's another story. Chris R was a trooper and picked up the slack for Blake who hid in his room while we banged on the door outside and called him numerous times!

Just got home at 1:40 today. after dropping off Roy and Greg at the studebaker road exit on the 405. We had a great sunday run up to mission San Antionio at hunter Ligget. and an even better drive back to the coast on Ferguson Road.

Thanks to everyone for the already listed reasons, a wonderful weekend and enjoyed seeing everyone. What a great crowd.

Glad you are home safe Larry. Sunday ride took use from Pismo to Jolon and back to Highway 1 north of San Simeon. Not a road for a group tour or any skate boarder either.
But it was a blast!

While in Pismo I wandered into a meeting of Extroverts Anonymous aka the infamous SOC non-club. Everyone had a great time and so many thanks were (are) showered on the appropriate parties it initiated an instant floor show. The action was too quick and loud for one paparazzi to capture it all. Here are a couple I snapped.

Great weekend with the SOC gang! Debbie and I had a ball, and want to thank Jen for getting things lined up and Warren and Karen for a sweet welcome party! Just a great time seeing all the crew!!!!
